Spain: Costa Blanca   Clean, white, sandy beaches and glorious sun that seems to shine down on them permanently. The Costa Blanca is famous for the holiday hotspot of Benidorm, with its many hotels, bars and restaurants and legendary nightlife tailored for the British visitor. Our resorts are newer developments less than one hours drive south of Alicante.   Torrevieja In the evenings the streets in the centre burst into life as cars are banned and bars and restaurants spread their tables onto the streets, until they seems to all merge into one giant street party. Locals and visitors get down to the very popular Spanish pastimes of eating and drinking well into the night and early hours of the morning. Whether your taste is regional paella, cosmopolitan pizza or even burgers it is all available in a great atmosphere. Nearby the new promenade is ideal for a pre dinner or after dinner stroll. There is a permanent street market with stalls full of clothes and gifts, street artists offering portraits and caricatures at very reasonable prices, and street entertainers. There is even a small funfair for younger children.   Cabo Roig Just 6km south of Torrevieja Cabo Roig offers a choice of excellent beaches, just a few minutes apart by Car, Cala Capitan, Cala Caleta, Cala Bosque are blue flag beaches and extremely well kept. Each one has a beach bar serving good quality and reasonably priced drinks, snack and meals. All these beaches are safe for children and most have pedalos and other water sports facilities. This area is made up of newer developments, which have proved very popular with British, German and Dutch visitors. Many of them have bought properties in this area for holidays and future retirement. There are convenient modern supermarkets and along “the Strip” numerous bars, cafes and restaurants of all types and nationalities: Spanish, English, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai. Many of the bars offer live music and entertainment and there are a number of pubs and Irish pubs.   Accommodation – From £32 per apartment per night All our houses and apartments are well located within walking distance of the “main strip” of Cabo Roig area. All properties are individually owned which gives each one it’s own character, and at the same time ensures they are well maintained. The standard of building and furnishings are to a much higher standard than normally found in holiday accommodation at these great value prices. Most have extra touches of luxury like air conditioning or ceiling fans, satellite TV and video players. All have washing machines. All properties are provided with full bedding and towels (not for beach use) for the number of people booked.   Playa Marina These apartments are on the strip just a short walk from the Aldeus de Aguamarina and just as convenient for the many bars and restaurants. All the apartments have air conditioning and balcony and some on the top floor have a roof Solarium terrace for sunbathing. They all have living areas with fully equipped open plan kitchens, 2 or 3 bedrooms and full bathrooms. There is a 24 hour manned reception and secure underground car park. The attractive landscaped pool area also offers free use of sunloungers.   Aldeas de Aguamarina This attractive development is just a few minutes walk to the “main strip” of Cabo Roig, close enough to leave the car at home when you go out for the evening. The accommodation is arranged in two rows with an internal, car free, courtyard with many flowers and shrubs creating a safe and attractive setting for the well-maintained communal pool. We offer three types of accommodation. Low rise Apartments, Town Houses and Bungalow style houses. You can walk from the Aldeas to the sea in only a few minutes although at this point, the shore is rocky and not ideal for bathing. The nearest sandy beach is a 15-20 minute walk away. Apartments Have 1 or 2 bedrooms, with a separate kitchen and dining area and large balcony. Town Houses Have 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms with a small garden and balcony or roof terrace. The 3 bedroom Town houses have the extra bedroom on the ground floor and a smaller lounge area.   Sol Beach These 3 bedroom houses are built in small clusters of 4, each house with its own parking area / garden. They are generally quite a bit larger than the Aldeas de Aguamarina properties with separate kitchens and lounges. All have balconies or roof terraces for private sunbathing. There is a communal pool for exclusive use of the residents and holidaymakers. They are located a little further from the bars and restaurants, being approximately a 10 minutes walk. The nearest beach is 15 – 20 minute walk.   Car Hire and Airport Transfers Taxi Transfers from Alicante airport can be arranged from £35.00 (return daytime transfer) for up to 4 people. Although car hire is not essential for our accommodation we recommend you hire one for at least part of your holiday to make the most of the many fantastic beaches in this area. Daily flights are available with Scheduled, Low Cost and Charter Airlines from most of the popular Airports in the UK and Germany. You will be amazed at how low the Prices get on certain dates.
